London Picnic – Meet Up – Person

The London Network is meeting up this July.

Join us on Sunday 12th July from 1pm in St James’s Park for our annual friends‑and‑family summer picnic. This one’s a big, joyful get‑together, so feel free to bring partners, kids, parents, flatmates — anyone important in your life. Everyone’s welcome.

We’ll be spending the afternoon enjoying relaxed chats with people who just ‘get it’, plus ice creams, deckchairs and a BYO picnic. There’ll be face painting and a piñata for the little (and not‑so‑little!) ones too. And for this meetup, instead of a drink, the deckchairs and ice creams are on Shine.

We’ll be in our usual spot near the Marlborough Gate kiosk. From St James’s Park tube, enter via Queen Anne’s Gate, head straight over the bridge and keep going until you spot the orange. From Green Park or Piccadilly, walk towards The Mall and enter opposite Marlborough Road — again, look out for a tree covered in orange.

There are toilets (including accessible ones) and a café nearby for refreshments. Bring a picnic blanket, your picnic if you want to eat, a raincoat (because… England), and a sense of fun.
