Shine Shake Up Max
Cancer in your 20s, 30s or 40s impacts far more than just your physical health – it can affect all areas of your life. Join us for a two-day event with an overnight stay from 29th to 30th January 2027, designed to give you the tools, space, and peer support to navigate cancer together. It’s also an opportunity to help others and share your experiences.
You are eligible for this event if:
- you have not done an online programme or Shake Up Max before
- you are currently aged 20-49
- you were diagnosed with cancer after the age of 18.
You may be in treatment, in remission, or living with cancer as an incurable or chronic disease. We are open to anyone in our age group, with any type of cancer.
Our next Shake Up Max will be held at the Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth, just moments from the beach. From 29th to 30th January, we’ll be bringing 20 younger adults who have, or have had, cancer together. Over the two days you will have the chance to meet others navigating cancer, learn tools for coping, and have important conversations. You’ll also have a chance to get outdoors and walk along the beach (or go for a cold plunge if you dare!).
A refundable £100 deposit is required to secure your place.
All accommodation, food and drink is included.
