Healthcare Professionals

At Shine, we’re experts in providing support and information to people in their 20s, 30s and 40s who have been diagnosed with cancer.

We run online workshops and programmes to help and support HCPs who are working with younger adults.

Webinar series

Our 1-hour online webinars are for anyone working with younger adults with cancer, and cover a number of key topics. This webinar series has been CPD-accredited, and participants of all three can purchase a certificate for £20.

Shine Champions programme

This is a new year-long Champions programme for HCPs where you get training from the Shine team in the form of 2 x 1 day workshops, access to our conference, and 2 ‘lunch and learn’ sessions. Our 2026 programme started in March, but you can express an interest in our 2027 programme below.

We want every adult diagnosed with cancer in their 20s, 30s, and 40s to receive support around the issues that really matter to them, in a way that works for them.

We’d love to share our knowledge, experience and research with you so that you too can champion this aim! We hope that being a Shine Champion will give you an extra set of resources to draw on, access to the expertise of our networks, and the ability to share those resources and expert knowledge with your colleagues.

How much does it cost?

We want this year of training to be accessible to as many people as possible and, as such, we have secured funding to cover the majority of the cost of each place. The year-long programme costs us approx £2000 per person to run but the only costs we’ll ask you to cover are:

  • Travel costs to the in person events in London
  • If you want certification for the CPD accredited elements of the year (8hrs), we ask for a £50 admin fee to process that for you

We have a very limited bursary fund for travel costs but would ask that you enquire about any workplace funding that can be secured before applying for these.
