Chronic Cancer Group Chats
We define chronic cancer as cancer which can be controlled for many (5+) years either through treatment or ‘watch and wait’. This typically includes chronic blood cancers (chronic myeloid leukaemia, myeloma) but can also includes melanoma, some types of ovarian cancer, and even brain tumours.
We know that living with a chronic cancer can be tough because they’re not well understood. People may ask you when you’re finishing treatment, why you haven’t lost your hair, or not understand how living with cancer can affect your energy levels.
We run chronic cancer chats monthly online on the first Monday of every month and we’d love to see you there. The chats are informal and a good way to meet others who truly get what you’re going through. To check out the dates and join us, drop your details using the button below and we’ll be in touch.
