Shake Up London - 7 November 2026
We’re excited to be returning to London to host a Shake Up on 7 November 2026. It will take place at the Maggie’s Centre at St Barts Hospital. Free to attend, with a refundable deposit. Register your place below.
What is a Shake Up?
A Shake Up is a full-day (10 am–4:30 pm) free, in-person event where you can talk through important topics, share good food, and feel less alone with cancer. Whether you’re in treatment, in remission, living with cancer, or were diagnosed long ago – you are welcome.
As spaces are limited, you are only allowed to attend one Shake Up. If you’ve been and fancy more Shine time, check out our online programmes, networks, and other events. We’d love to see you there!

How much does it cost?
How is Shake Up Fire different?
Unlike our usual Shake Up events, Shake Up Fire is a day spent completely outdoors in a forest.
You’ll be guided by Layne, an expert in outdoor skills, who’ll teach you things such as fire building and cooking outdoors.
Shake Up Fire is a chance to escape your day-to-day stresses and spend the day in nature with others who just get it.
Where do I sign up?
In my two and a half years of dealing with cancer, it’s been a lonely journey as I have always been the youngest person in every room by a mile. Being with people of a similar age group who just ‘get it’ was hugely beneficial for me and for once I actually didn’t feel alone. I feel like I’ve found connections for life which is just amazing.
