Applications for our Bournemouth Escape in January 2019 are now open!
The Escape is an opportunity for men and women in their 20s, 30s and 40s to meet others their age affected by cancer, to explore issues which are important to them and – most importantly – to have fun.
Workshop topics include managing anxiety, fitness, fertility and working after cancer. It’s a packed agenda with plenty of down time built in so still you have time to chill out or explore Bournemouth. The Escape takes place over three and a half days and is offered free-of-charge to participants (though we do ask that you try to raise some sponsorship money). All meals and accommodation are provided.
What our Escapees say:
- “What a fantastic weekend with an amazing bunch of people! I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! I've never felt so at ease before in a room full of strangers!”
- “The workshops reassured me that everything I’ve felt is normal, while offering good, practical advice on things like work and relationships”.
- “Wow, what can I say? It's been a fantastic, inspiring and challenging weekend. It's been a pleasure to spend it with such a wonderful group of people.”
Applications are now open for our 2019 Great Escape. However, places are limited and we are always over-subscribed, please apply by the 26th October. We'll let you know by mid November if your are going to be a 2019 Escapee.
Make sure you let us know why you want to come as places are not allocated on a first come, first served basis as we always try to ensure that there is good mix of people and experiences.
We look forward to hearing from you!
